RLCS Fantasy is an unofficial, fan-operated fantasy league application for the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS). The app is independently developed and operated and is not affiliated with Psyonix, Epic Games, or the RLCS organization in any way.

2. What Data We Collect
When you create an account, we collect:
• Email address — used for account identification and login only
• Team name — your public display name within the league
• Display name — a unique short identifier generated from your team name
• Password — stored as a one-way bcrypt hash. We never store your plain-text password and cannot read it.
• Team colors — your chosen background and text colors for your league card
• Roster picks — the players you select for each Regional event
• Bracket picks — your team predictions for LAN events
We do not collect your real name, phone number, location, payment information, device identifiers, or any social media data.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to operate the RLCS Fantasy league:
• Your email is used to verify your identity at login
• Your team name and colors are displayed to other league members in standings and score cards
• Your roster and bracket picks are used to calculate your fantasy score each event
• We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or profiling of any kind
4. How Your Data Is Stored & Secured
Your data is stored on a privately operated server. We take the following security measures:
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage — never stored in plain text and cannot be reversed
• All communication uses HTTPS (TLS encryption) — your data is encrypted in transit
• Authentication tokens (JWTs) are stored in your device's secure storage — iOS Keychain or Android Keystore — never in plain text
• Our server is not shared hosting and is maintained by the app operator
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no system is completely immune to security incidents. We will notify affected users promptly in the event of a data breach.
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties.
Your team name and score are visible to other members of the same league, as required for the fantasy league to function. Your email address is never visible to other users.
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services. There are no ads in this app or website.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your account data for as long as you have an active account. If you request account deletion, all of your personal data will be permanently deleted from our database within 30 days.

7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — update your team name, email, or password from the Profile screen
• Deletion — request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability — request your data in a readable format

8. Children's Privacy
RLCS Fantasy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us immediately via Discord or email and we will delete the account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use RLCS Fantasy. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
You may only create one account. Multiple accounts per person are not permitted.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for:
• Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring your team name does not violate our conduct standards (see Section 5)
You may update your account information at any time from the Profile screen. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact a moderator immediately via Discord.
4. League Participation
RLCS Fantasy is a fantasy sports league game operated for entertainment purposes only. No real money, prizes, or financial rewards are associated with participation.
Participation in leagues is by invitation only. League membership is managed by the league operator.
Scores and standings are calculated automatically based on official RLCS match results and are final once an event is marked as finished. Disputes must be raised within 48 hours of an event closing.
5. Conduct Standards
By using RLCS Fantasy, you agree not to:
• Use offensive, hateful, discriminatory, or impersonating team names
• Attempt to exploit bugs or scoring errors to gain an unfair advantage
• Share your account with others or use another person's account
• Attempt to manipulate, interfere with, or reverse-engineer the app or scoring systems
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other league members
Violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the league at moderator discretion.
6. Intellectual Property
RLCS Fantasy is an unofficial fan application. All Rocket League, RLCS, team, and player names, logos, and branding referenced in this app belong to their respective owners (Psyonix, Epic Games, and relevant esports organizations). We make no claim of ownership over any of this intellectual property.
The RLCS Fantasy app code, design, and scoring systems are the property of its developer.
7. Disclaimers
RLCS Fantasy is provided "as is" for entertainment purposes only. We make no guarantees regarding:
• The accuracy or timeliness of scores shown in the app
• Uninterrupted availability of the app or its servers
• The completeness of player or team data
The website (rlcsfantasy.com) is the official source of truth for final standings in any discrepancy between the app and website. We are not responsible for any losses or damages arising from your use of the app.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time for violations of these Terms of Service, or for any other reason at moderator discretion.
You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us via Discord or email. Upon deletion, all your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app operator resides. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved informally in the first instance by contacting a moderator via Discord.
